How to be successful

There are a few components to being successful in my class, but the one key component is saving each numbered assignment, power point or note session in their numeric order during each unit being taught.  Please save these in a smaller 3 ring binder or some type of folder that works for you.

**I will place these up on a bulletin board in their order for each unit.  When a unit of study is done I will then remove these papers to renumber the next unit's assignments, power points or notes.  It is critical that you save these papers as they build up  for a review before a unit test.  You will end up using these papers to study for a test.  Please do not lose or recycle these papers until I give you permission.  Note:  There are no review sheets for any type of map tests.

Besides the advice above be sure to:

1.  Use your planner.

2.  Complete all homework to quality and have it ready at the beginning of class.  Your effort pays off.

3.  Be engaged in classroom activities.

4.  Communicate to me if you do not understand the concepts being taught.  If there is not time in class to ask the question or clarify something be sure to see me before or after school.
